Kacela Martin

FLI Network Student Co-Coordinator

My name is Kacela Martin, and I am one of the two co-coordinators for the FLI Network for this year. I am a junior, I am originally from Detroit, Michigan, and my pronouns are she/her/hers. As a first-generation student and a QuestBridge finalist, I understand both the struggles and the advantages that come with being First Gen. My goal is to work towards making resources and other services available to other First Gen/Low Income students at Wellesley. I hope that I can get to know many more First Gen/Low Income students and make more connections with others on campus.

Some fun facts about me include the fact that I enjoy playing video games, and I am quite passionate about music and technology.

Yanqing Lei

FLI Network Student Co-Coordinator

Hi everyone! My name is Yanqing Lei and I’m a sophomore. I’m majoring in Political Science and Women’s and Gender studies. I’m one of the student co-coordinators for FLI connect. As a first-generation student myself, I understand and realize the importance of having a community that supports one another. I love getting to know others and supporting each other to grow. I’m an Academic Success Coach this fall so feel free to ask me any questions and it doesn’t need to be academic-related! I’m also part of She’s The First and Wellesley Asian Alliance on campus.

In my free time, I love watching Chinese dramas, listening to Kpop, baking, and spending time with my family. I’m so proud of every one of you and can’t wait to meet y’all!
