40 Days of Gratitude & Kindness (February 7 - March 18, 2022)

The Office of Religious and Spiritual Life invites students, staff, faculty, alumnae and the wider Wellesley community to join us in experiences that multiply gratitude and kindness on our campus and in our world. In a time where gratitude and kindness seem to be in short supply, we intend to share them abundantly with one another through a variety of programs, meditations, experiential opportunities, and conversations exploring both themes.

We ask the question,What would it look like, feel like, to live rooted in gratitude and express genuine kindness to one another for 40 days?This annual initiative asks our community to consider how living in intentional gratitude and kindness with one another might transform our common experience of this campus.

By gratitude we mean thankfulness and appreciation for others. By kindness we mean friendly and considerate actions towards others. We believe that gratitude and kindness help us live with less anxiety and lead to mindful and fulfilling life journeys.

Is there a book, poem, song, music, TV or movie, story, anecdote, experience, etc. you would like to share? Inspirations will be shared via the ORSL Instagram.
