Special Statement (8/27/2021):
- For the Fall 2021 semester, the Archives are open by appointment only. Emailarchives@wellesley.eduto arrange an appointment.
- Faculty wishing to arrange class visits to the Archives should do so two weeks in advance (if at all possible).
The Wellesley College Archives are open to all, regardless of affiliation. The Archives are responsible for managing, maintaining, and making accessible those records of the College that have long-term historical value, such as administrative records, manuscripts, photographs, maps, architectural plans, honors theses, and audio/video materials.
The Archives also collects materials from alumnae and others that help document and illustrate the history of Wellesley College, including scrapbooks, photographs, letters, and assorted realia and ephemera.
