Tess Mattern (she/her) is the Director of Marketing and Operations of Career Education at Wellesley College. She manages the team’s marketing outreach to students, alumnae, parents, faculty, staff, and employers and directs team operations. Tess brings the lens of inclusive excellence to all aspects of her work, designing communication strategies to ensure that students from diverse backgrounds understand and know how to take full advantage of the opportunities and services available to them. Prior to coming to Wellesley College in 2016, Tess worked outside of higher education, holding marketing and communications roles within for-profit and non-profit art organizations. Tess also currently serves on the Board of Directors for Mudflat Pottery School, Somerville, MA.
