Wellesley is proud to be aQuestBridge partner school. This nonprofit organization links bright, motivated, low-income students with educational and scholarship opportunities at some of the nation’s best colleges.

If you are aQuestBridge student, we are thrilled you are considering Wellesley and congratulate you on being recognized for your outstanding academic and personal accomplishments by the QuestBridge program. Applying to college can be challenging, confusing, and stressful, but we’re here to help! Above all, we want you to be successful.

Important updates for First-Year Applicants

Suspension of Standardized Testing Requirement for 2021-22 (Updated February 2021)

Wellesley has extended the one year suspension of its standardized testing requirement for first-year applicants given the fact that many high school students are still unable to sit for standardized tests due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This means that submission of SAT or ACT scores will be optional for first-year applicants applying to the College for entry in the fall of 2021 and 2022. If an applicant wishes to have their standardized test scores considered as one component of their application, we will consider the scores in a nuanced and contextual way alongside all other application credentials. If applicants choose not to submit standardized test scores, we will evaluate their application in a nuanced and contextual way without scores. Our holistic, committee-based application review process gives us the flexibility to evaluate each applicant’s academic and extracurricular accomplishments within individual context.标准rdized Testing FAQs.

Financial aid and QuestBridge

Wellesley has aneed-blind financial aid policy美国公民和永久居民,我们meet 100 percent of calculated need. For international, undocumented, or DACA students, please note that while we meet 100 percent of calculated need for all admitted students, we are only able to fund a limited number each year.

I didn’t match with Wellesley but I’m still very interested. Can I still apply?

QuestBridge Scholars Network at Wellesley

The QSN chapter at Wellesley aims to promote issues of access to education and leadership for students drawn from underrepresented segments of society and to provide members with services offered by the national QuestBridge Scholars Network, including but not limited to leadership opportunities, professional development resources, internships, and fellowships.

Our chapter provides a space for low-income students to join together to share their joys and work through their obstacles, as well as get suggestions for finding jobs, academic preparation, career planning, and more.
